Draft for checking. This hasn't been reviewed by a solicitor yet, and the bits in [square brackets] still need filling in.
Terms
Last updated [date]
These are the rules for using clickit.bio. They're between you and Click It Social, [company name, registered number and address]. By making a page, you agree to them.
Your account
- You need to be [13 or over] to make a page.
- Keep your login safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One page per account. Pick a name that's yours to use; we can take back names that impersonate someone or that we need for clickit.bio itself.
Your page and your content
- What you put on your page is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it on your page, in previews and in your media kit, for as long as it's on clickit.bio.
- Only upload things you have the right to use.
- Don't use clickit.bio for anything illegal, hateful, misleading or harmful, to pretend to be someone else, or to link to scams or malware. We can remove content or pages that break these rules.
- Brand takeovers always show an "Ad" label. You're still responsible for following advertising rules (such as the ASA and CAP Code in the UK) in your own posts and deals.
Plans and payment
- Everyone gets 14 days of Pro free. After that your page switches to the free plan unless you choose to pay. We won't charge you without you signing up.
- Pro is £8, $10 or €9 a month, or £80, $100 or €90 a year (two months free), billed by Stripe until you cancel. Prices can change; we'll tell you at least [30 days] before a change affects you.
- You can cancel any time from your plan. You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you've paid for. [Refund policy and the 14-day cancellation right for consumers.]
- If you go back to the free plan, your page switches to the Classic look and Pro features stop showing, but nothing you've made is deleted.
The badge
Free and Pro pages show a small "Made with clickit.bio" badge. It links to clickit.bio with your referral code.
Brand enquiries and deals
We pass enquiries from brands to you by email. Any deal is between you and the brand; we're not part of it and can't vouch for either side.
Other services
Some features use other companies' services, such as YouTube (you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service when you connect it), Stripe and Spotify links. Their terms apply to those parts.
If things go wrong
- We work hard to keep clickit.bio running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- [Limitation of liability wording.] Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.
- You can delete your page any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law says we can't.
The small print
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data. Questions: [support email].
